Ingredients
- 1 package of Halloumi cheese
- 1/2 cup of butter
Batter
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
Step By Step
- Slice the cheese about 0.7 cm. thick.
- Beat together the ingredients for the batter.
- Melt the butter over a medium flame. Monitor the flame carefully so that it is as high as possible without burning the butter.
- Dip the cheese in the batter and brown in the the butter, turning once.
