
Ingredients
- 500 grams of green beans
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 large tomato (pealed and finely diced)
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup chopped of corinader (Kusbara)
Step By Step
- Trim off the ends of each bean and cut it into 2 or 3 pieces.
- Rinse well and add to a large pot of boiling salted water.
- Cover, reduce heat to moderate and cook for 30 minutes.
- Drain off all but 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid, and add the remaining ingredients except for the corinader.
- Blend gently and cook for 25 minutes.
- Add the corinader and cook 5 more minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- The sauce should be thick and each bean glistening and coated.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
